Continuing the meaning of the collection 'Vietnamese Specialty' - Proud of the natural products of the mountainous regions of Vietnam and the raw materials carefully cared for by farmers. Menitems wishes to bring the images of nature and the stories of farmers closer to young people, in order to share, understand and support the lives of people in difficult mountainous areas in the closest way.

Support domestic agricultural products and create livelihoods for Vietnamese farmers

As a brand dedicated to Vietnamese people, Menitems always cherishes proud stories to tell about their country. In the launch of the Vietnamese Specialty collection, with the goal of bringing the best hair wax products with scents from Vietnamese ingredients to honor domestic agricultural products, Menitems went to the mountainous land of Lam Dong, explored nature and listened more to the stories of farmers.

Did you know that Lam Dong is a mountainous province with 47 ethnic groups, with 25.72% of the population being ethnic minorities, mainly farming and raising livestock. Recently, the problem of monoculture and the use of chemical fertilizers has caused land degradation, environmental pollution, and affected people's health. Agricultural prices are unstable, causing many difficulties for farmers. Therefore, ecological agriculture - stopping herbicides, reducing pesticides combined with intercropping with a variety of plants in monoculture gardens is considered the best sustainable development solution.

The transition cannot be done quickly but must be gradual and requires support from the community. The project “Buffaloes do not plow - Buffaloes choose to contribute trees” for the people of Lam Dong, is a collaboration between Menitems and TreeBank to contribute to accelerating the transition to ecological agriculture, towards sustainable and comprehensive development for ethnic minorities in Lam Dong.
